F² Designs came to life after searching for lights to enhance my urban garden. I searched home stores, department stores and garden specialty shops and found that nothing suited my taste. Being a licensed electrician with 30 years of commercial and residential experience I challenged myself to create and manufacture my own landscape lighting designs.
At the start I designed the lights to enhance tree trunks and the surrounding flora. I developed additional designs to illuminate other garden artwork and sculptures. I then discovered a need for additional area lighting. I have since expanded my designs to allow for the fixtures to be installed from doorways, garages and walls to accommodate many outdoor locations and indoor locations.
What Makes F² Designs Unique?
F² Designs are all handcrafted and individually made. No two pieces will ever be exactly the same. The medium is copper and brass. I envision my designs to be used not only for a practical purpose but also to be viewed as a piece of physical sculpture which adds to the aesthetic value of your outdoor or indoor living space.
The individual fixtures are crafted and provide a range from simple structures to very complex. Custom designs are available and may vary depending on customer input.
What's Included?
Included with price of the fixture are the following items:
- Swivel fitting to keep the fixture level (not to exceed 25 degrees)
- 90 degree fitting, a heavy gauged straight brass conduit (6”-9” long)
- 1/2" to 1/4" reducing brass fitting for the connection into appropriate termination point (dependent on the client's selection of electrical application)
The fixtures can be used with a low voltage power source (12 volt) or a 120 volt power source. Code compliant installation as it pertains to National Electrical Codes and local codes and ordinances must always be followed.
